MyPlan
MyPlan is a career assessment tool that analyzes your personality, interests, skills, and values. It is a great tool for those who are uncertain about their major or career but also for those that do have certainty as it helps focus the choices. MyPlan will provide a list of occupations that are best matched with your personality, skills, interests, and values. It is important to meet with the Career Development counselor to interpret your results. You can contact Career Development to receive the MyPlan access code.
Nittany Lion Careers
Nittany Lion Careers is Penn State’s single-system recruiting platform for employers and all Penn State students and alumni.
For additional support and directions on how to search for positions, please visit the Nittany Lion Careers Students & Alumni page and review the "Using Nittany Lion Careers" resources.
LionLink
Alumni Career Services offers a program called LionLink Projects which connects students and recent graduates with Penn State alumni through project-based work.
Using LionLink Projects, alumni can post experiential learning opportunities for students and recent graduates. These projects will give students and recent graduates opportunities to gain real-world experience and build their resumes by applying the knowledge they have learned in the classroom. In turn, alumni gain support for their company or organization from talented Penn State students and new graduates.
Career Library
We have a career library for students in the Career Development office that includes books and resources on finding your career path and interests, searching for jobs and internships, and gaining knowledge about career paths for different majors.
If you have any ideas for a Career Library book, contact: Rebecca Pennington, [email protected] or 814-375-4766.
